Bali dancing is centered around religion.

Dating back to the beginning of the known history of Bali, Bali dancing is an integral part of Balinese culture.

Most Bali dances are done in temple festivals and Balinese religious ceremonies.

Some of the most well known Bali dances include the Barong Dance, the Legong Dance, the Ramayana, the Sanghyang Jaran Dance, the Tari Panyembrama Dance, the Yudapati Dance, the Ghopala Dance, the Semarayana Dance, and the Gebug Ende Dance.

Those visiting Bali can enjoy traditional Bali dance performances at hotels and dance venues throughout the island.
