Visiting Hong Kong

Cantonese is the main official language of Hong Kong and several other regions in China.

English is also an official language of Hong Kong.

This is owing to the fact that Hong Kong was until recently a British colony.

Most people in Hong Kong, particularly those working in the hospitality and services sector, speak English as well.
