The Park Hyatt Hotel, which was made famous by Sofia Coppola’s 2003 film Lost in Translation, is one of the best hotels in Tokyo.

Not located in the most convenient location in Tokyo, the Park Hyatt Hotel more than makes up for its out of the way premises by being an ultra luxury hotel.

Guest rooms at the Park Hyatt in Tokyo are decorated with neutral colors and clean lines, with stark white linens and luxury amenities. Rooms on higher floors have amazing views over Tokyo and all the way to Mount Fuji.

The Park Hyatt hotel features a swimming pool and gym on the top floor. Guests can enjoy panoramic views through the expansive windows while they work on getting fit.

The lobby area and lounges at the Park Hyatt are elegantly decorated and the restaurants and bars serve great local and international food and cocktails. The 52nd floor New York Grill is worth a visit for the city skyline views alone, but do stay for the food.

Room rates at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Tokyo start at 48200 yen per night (around 525 USD). The hotel offers special deals and discounts throughout the year, so room rates are often lower.
